Jake Brown founded RedMars to connect spaceflight learning, simulation, mission operations practice, and competency evidence into one practical development path.

His background spans advanced training systems, simulation software, hardware and software integration, mission operations training, and distributed software engineering.

Before building RedMars, Jake worked across spaceflight training and simulation roles, enterprise software engineering, and military aviation.

Why RedMars exists.

Spaceflight needs a clearer bridge between education, technical practice, mission operations, and professional evidence. RedMars is building that bridge through Portal infrastructure and the STAR readiness framework.
